Root Canals

Root canal procedures have taken a bad rap over the years. While previously regarded as one of the more unpleasant of dental procedures (and with good reason!) modern dental science has transformed this important restoration preservation strategy into just another day in the office for patients who benefit from them.

Dr. Sebastian uses his root canal expertise to repair and save teeth that have become badly decayed or infected. The procedure calls for removing the underlying nerve and or pulp of the tooth, and cleaning and sealing the tooth’s interior surfaces. This treatment prevents the tissue surrounding the tooth from becoming infected and leading to much more serious issues.

You may need a root canal if you experience severe toothache pain when chewing, or if you have prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures. Discoloration is another sign that something might be wrong inside of your tooth.

There’s no reason for you to continue living with tooth pain.
